Eight days - The mountains Rila and Pirin

The mountains Rila and Pirin are famous with their beauty and excellent conditions for hiking and mountaineering and ski in the winter. The following offer covers the most interesting ski-tours, passing through the highest parts of Rila and Pirin where the pleasure of skiing is superb. You will also be given the possibility of visiting the most famous historical and cultural sights of Bulgaria - Rila Monastery, Alexander Nevski Cathedral on Sofia, ancient houses in the town of Bansko.The physical strain during the ski tour is moderate. The duration ranges from 3-5 hours daily. The skiers must have the necessary skills to ski along the wild mountain slopes.The physical strain of the tracking tours is also moderate. Duration of 4-6 hours daily.

First Day: Arrival in Sofia, transportation by mini bus to the tourist complex Maliovitza
Second Day: Ski tour via Razhdaviza to the chalet of Strashno Ezero. Downhill sliding back to the complex.
Third/Fourth Day: ski tours from the complex via Maliovitza peak (2729m),Urdini Ezera, Zeleni ridge to the chalet rilski Ezera. Night lodging at the chalet. Ski climbing from Rilski ezera to Razdela peak (2670m) and trip to Rila monastery. Sightseeing and trip to the historic town of Bansco. Accommodation in private houses.
Fifth Day: by bus to Shiligarnika. Ski tour via Todorka peak (2712m), Vessilinski Ezera, damjanitza chalet, and back to Bansco.
Sixth Day: Back to Shiligarnika. Ski tour to Vihren peak (2194m). Back to the town of Bansco.
Seventh Day: departure for Sofia. Accommodation in tourist class hotel, city tour, Alexander Nevski Cathedral, walks and entertaiment. Official dinner party.
Eight day: Departure from Sofia.
Duration: 8 days after arrival in Sofia till departure
Ski tours in mountain: 5 days

Ten days - Pirin and Rila Mountains Tracking

First Day: Arrival in Sofia, transportation by mini bus to hotel in Sofia.
Second Day: Sofia city tour, Alexander Nevski cathedral, National Historical Museum etc. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight.
Third Day: Light track in Vitosha mountain for adaptation. In the afternoon trip by mini bus to the town of Bansco. Sightseeing, transport to Bandaritza hut. Bivouac in tents.
Forth/Fifth Day: Climbing the peak of Todorka (2712m), Kutelo (2908m) and Vihreh (2915m) from where you could see sights of Greece and Macedonia. Transport to Rila Monastery.
Sixth/Seventh Day: Walk to the cave of St. Ivan Rilski, trip around Rila Monastery. Climbing to the Seven Rila Lakes.
Eight/Ninth Day: Transportation along the main crest of the peak of Maliovitza (2730m) and down to the complex of Maliovitza. Transportation through the most impressive part of Rila Mountain.
Tenth/Eleventh day: Passes through a wavy terrain of peaks. There are many lakes in this region.
Twelfth Day: Climbing to the peak of Mussala (2925m) with he highest peak on the Balkan peninsula. Trip to Borovetz, overnight with a farewell party.
Thirteenth/Fourteenth Day: transport by bus to the town of Plovdiv. City tour, sites from the Rome epoch, the old town. Walks and entertaiment.
Fifteenth Day: Transport by bus to Sofia.Duration: 15 days after arrival in Sofia till departure

Ten days - Pirin Mountain Tracking

First Day: Arrival in Sofia, transportation by mini bus to hotel in Sofia.
Second Day: Short tour to Vitosha mountain. In the afternoon visit of Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the centre of the city.
Third Day: Transport by bus to the town of Bansko, town tour. Transport by bus to Vihren Hut (1950m), overnight.
Forth Day: Walking tour to the Banderishki lakes and back to the hut. Overnight.
Fifth Day: Climbing up the peak, Vihren (2915), Kutelo (2909m) and passing along the Karst ridge of Pirin mountain. Overnight in Yavorov hut(1740m).
Sixth/Seventh Day: Staying in Rila cloister. Walking tour to Kirilova Polyana, from where a view of the most impressive rocky sites is revealed. Visit of the cave where St. Ivan spent fasting and praying 50 years of his life. Accommodation in a hut.
Eight/Ninth Day: Climbing to the seven Rila lakes. Visit to the sacred Danovists places. Accommodation in the hut Rilski Ezera.
Tenth/Eleventh Day: Tour along the main ridge of the mountain to the hut Maliovitza (1960m).
Twelfth Day: Transport by bus to Borovetz. List tour to Yastrebetz peak (2369m). Walking tour up to peak Mussala (2995m)and back to Boprovetz.
Thirteenth/Fourteenth Day: Transport by bus to Plovdiv. City tour.
Fifteenth Day: Transport by bus to Sofia.
